If you have a fibre glass canopy and you need extra lights but you don’t want to run wires for permanent lights Try this.
You can pick up the round magnetic lights from most auto shops or some supermarkets for $5 - $15.
Cut a small piece of flat tin, could be the bottom of a fruit tin or if you have no way of cutting the tin slip down to your local hardware store and grab a few washers with a small hole, then glue the tin or washer to the fibre glass roof.
Use something like silicone, liquid nails or quick grip, leave it to dry and you’ve got yourself a light holder.
This method allows you to be hands free and a good overhead light for cooking or preparing food on the tailgate or searching for that elusive item in the back of the ute.
